We are please to announce that Z'otz* Collective is the feature story in Wondereur. Endorsed by Mona Filip curator at the Koffler Center of the Arts, with photos by Aaron Vincent Elkaim.
Wondereur’s high-design photo story format is the first of its kind, telling every artist’s story in brilliant detail. More than an art-buying platform, Wondereur provides insight into the artists’ process in an intimate, meaningful way. “We ask our editorial team (which includes our photojournalists) to look for the dramatic tension in the daily life of the artist.”
Z’otz* Collective (Nahúm Flores, Erik Jerezano, Ilyana Martínez) formed in Toronto in 2004. The group meets weekly to collaborate on multi-media works, which include drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and site–specific drawing installations.
* Z’otz is the Mayan word for “bat”
